University of Georgia Extension in Cobb County is offering Cooking for a Life Time of Women’s Wellness on March 13, 2014.
All women are invited, with a special invitation to women ages 40 and up with no health insurance, and women who rarely receive health screenings.
The program will teach how to choose and prepare food to reduce the risk of developing breast or cervical cancer and the importance of receiving routine Cancer screenings. The session will feature healthy recipes that participants can taste, as well as a notebook with recipes and handouts to take home.
This no-cost program will be held at Cobb County Extension, 678 South Cobb Dr. in Marietta on March 13, 2014 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. A CCT line 10 stop is located right outside our office.
